Wholesale price list and estimates:
Once we receive your design information via text, we’ll text you a 1:1 scale drawing with a detailed estimated of metal weight, mele sizes, quantities and overall measurements. Included in this text will be the estimate for your CAD model. The CAD estimate will not change unless there are changes to the original design, so we encourage our clients to work through the details of their design with our hand drawn technical illustrations first.
If you would like us to provide a finished piece, just let us know what materials you’ll be providing and we’ll text you back with a more detailed estimate of our wholesale cost based on the following price list, as well as any extra materials we may have to provide.
We charge $40 per per 1:1 scale - 3 view drawing based on your design specs and pics. That price includes the drawing along with the estimated metal weights, measurements of the piece in millimeters, as well as any additional stone sizes and how many, which takes the guesswork out of creating an estimate.
We charge $125 per 1:1 scale - 3 view drawing based on our own creative design for your center stone or other materials. The original design then belongs to you including the drawing which comes with an estimated metal weight and info on additional stone sizes.
We charge between $75 - $225 per CAD model on average, depending on the complexity of the design. Every CAD model comes with five high resolution renderings as well as more detailed metals weights that come from analyzing the volume of the 3D model.
Steps to get your project started:
STEP 1: To get started, if you are working with a center stone simply text us a photo of it looking straight down from the top. This applies to cushion, oval, pear, heart and marquise stones, as not every stone has the same proportions. We digitize your stones exact shape to ensure that it fits best in the setting. There’s no need to send pics of side stones or melee.
STEP 2: Along with pics of your center stone and any other images that show your design. Include in your text an idea of what style your customer is looking for, geometric or free form, heavy or lightweight, just the information we need to draw your custom design, including ring size, metal color, additional stone shapes and their measurements.
STEP 3: With the info you provide, our artists will create a 1:1 scale - 3 view drawing of your design based on your exact measurements. We’ll text this drawing back to you along with an estimate for your CAD model and the overall measurements of the piece, metal weight, as well as sizes and numbers of additional stones to be included in the estimate.
STEP 4: Once your drawing and CAD estimate have been approved, it proceeds to our CAD artists who build your 3D model to the exact specifications as the design drawing. Once complete, we’ll text you five different images of your piece, at no extra cost, so you can show your customer photorealistic images of what their custom piece will look like.
STEP 5: Once your CAD model is approved, we can print it on our Figure 4 - 3D printer in GRN 20, wax castable resin. We invest our models under vacuum and cast with argon inert vacuum casting and induction melting in our Indutherm MC60V. If you prefer, we can also send the CAD file or the 3D printed model right to your printer or the caster of your choice.
STEP 6: We cast with new gold and silver, while we prefer Techform for platinum casting. When your casting is complete it is magnetically tumbled and examined to ensure it meets our high quality standards. We can either ship the rough casting to your jeweler to be set in store or we can set it ourselves and send you a finished piece ready to give your customer.
STEP 7: If you choose to have us finish your piece, we do our setting work with a Leica A60 Microscope, MicroNX micromotor and GRS GraverMax G8 pneumatic engraving system to ensure that our clients always receive the highest quality setting work. Our custom work is generally completed within 3 weeks from the time your CAD model is approved.
